We’re confirming your mailing address for efficiencies and accuracy.
The postal service then reviews the addresses and lets AmeriCU know if we need to make any updates. It could be something as simple as:
-
- a misspelling;
- a P.O. Box versus a Street Address;
- a County Route or Highway;
- an incorrect number
You may still receive physical mail despite one of the points listed above.
If you’ve received an e-mail that we need to verify your mailing address with you, you can get started by:
- Calling 800.388.2000 at your earliest convenience.
- Stopping in to any AmeriCU Financial Center.
- Visiting AmeriCU.org. Click ‘Let’s Connect’ in the bottom right-hand corner to connect with an agent for help or any questions you may have.
If you haven’t been contacted by AmeriCU needing to verify your mailing address, but you’d still like to verify it anyway, visit USPS and Look Up a Zip Code™. (Note: You will be taken from www.AmeriCU.org to a third-party website.) Click ‘Find My Address’, fill in your information, and select ‘Find’. USPS will then show you your mailing address, properly formatted with the correct street suffix and the last four digits of your ZIP code.
You can compare the address USPS provided against the address on your account by logging in to Online & Banking and selecting ‘Profile Updater’. From here, you can update or confirm your mailing address and save any changes you’ve made.
