SAM is coming to the Call Center!

Who’s that new voice? It’s SAM! Available 24/7 to chat with on our website, SAM will soon be available when you call AmeriCU, day or night. Like the Live Chat feature, SAM can answer any general questions you may have and can also help you bank over the phone, decreasing your wait time and improving the overall member experience when calling in. And as always, if you need more support than SAM can offer, he’ll connect you with an AmeriCU representative during business hours who can help with all your banking needs.

Voice Banking with SAM

When you connect with SAM by phone, you can get additional account information and perform transactions without the need to talk to an AmeriCU representative! Combining AmeriCU’s former TeleLink service with our current phone menu, you can now:

  • Check Balances
  • Review Recent Activity
  • Transfer Funds
  • Make Payments
  • and more!

Note that SAM can only provide protected account information connected to your Social Security number or Tax ID, when you confirm your account number and PIN (or access code) over the phone. For access to additional accounts, you will need to login to Online + Mobile Banking for service.

No, Voice Banking will seamlessly replace AmeriCU’s former TeleLink service. If you dial the former TeleLink numbers for access, you will be redirected to Voice Banking.

Instead of dialing in your transaction request like the former TeleLink service, you’ll now be able to verbally announce the transaction you’d like to perform. You can say things like “transfer money” or “make a loan payment”.

All you need is the account number and PIN (or access code) to connect with any accounts associated with your social security number (SSN) or Tax ID.

Voice Banking will be available 24/7 when you call 800.388.2000.

Absolutely! If you are not looking for answers to general questions and/or do not wish to perform banking via voice, we’ll transfer you to a Live Agent during business hours to help you perform your transactions via your preferred method.

No, you’ll perform your transactions via voice command when prompted.
